Hi guys

Well i got my AGX's and sent it to the garage this time to get it all put together and set up right. Unfortunately though i got a phone call about 20 minutes later to say that they're having a wee bit of trouble fitting the front inserts kindasad.gif More specifically they said that the tops were 'crimped' in, rather than screw ins ... or something like that, i think!

Now does anyone here have any experience with inserts like these, or even an idea of what needs to be done to adapt them with regard to cutting up the oldies and making it all work?! biggrin.gif

Part Numbers for anyone who's interested in these smile.gif
KYB AGX - £374.52 inc VAT (buypartsby.co.uk)
Front: 765017 (??? Inserts only - so make sure you don't have the sealed 'sport' shocks as standard on your car)
Rear Left: 734026
Rear Right: 734025

KYB AGX's

EDIT:
The garage have had to source some other KYB adjustables that are sealed units for about the same price, so fingers crossed it will be sorted tomorrow!

Extra Edit!
Now the garage are saying that the KYB parts database has apparently been written up incorrectly for our cars by the KYB peoples' own admission (well the UK/Jap 3S-GE GT in this case) and that the fronts and the rears are mixed up so some degree. So it looks like its going to have to be KYB self adjusting front shocks rather than adjustables... pain in the arse! but the AGX adjustables on the rear!!
They reckoned that with extra bits and pieces the fronts could possibly be fitted although they were worried that the turrets would not fit well due to the position of the adjusting dials or something to that effect.
