breif description of the story so far.... plenty more to come!
bought it as a standard import celica st205 GTFour, all the extras from factory included. how the engine used to look... then the changes began.. first off a blitz nur spec r exhaust system.. then the aussie 3" front pipes to join the blitz then the process of gutting the under bonnet insulation and removal of stock intake for apexi power intake.. then the blitz DSBC was installed for a bit more fun.. a ceramic aussie 3" downpipe was installed to remove the cat / downpipe combo to make the system a 3" straight through from the turbo out.. massive wastegate path.. smooth turbos in good nick... twin wastegate design of the ct20b all installed... i then decided to spray the heatshield to make it nicer. couple of coats and looks much better toyota sprint series happend... and then i realised how much boost creep i got in winter time, we tested the intake temps with the charge cooler installed and it wasnt a viable option to run 1.2 bar boost so this also had to go..... poor car for my nice big fmic from forge... cost the price of a small car! lol trial fitments happend then we finally finished the pipework and the bits put back together, it is beleive to be the only st205 using a ic this size to retain all oem coolers and foglights in the original mounting locations. 8 weeks later and alot of effort.. all back in and boost creep cured do to having such massive capacity in comparison to the cc setup, intakes down massively, and all good for me to drive the nurburg and donington park at flat out pace! things not seen as tein suspension and TRD low temp thermostat -------------------- 1994 ST-205 JDM GTFour... fmic conversion finshed, project GT500 is underway
