I love my Celica, And are planning on keeping it for many years
![]() I dont know if anyone knows the country "Denmark". its in the scandinavien and we have the most expensive cars in the world. By this i meen buy price lol. its hard to belive but we auctually pay for 2 cars extra each time we buy one, We have a whopping tax of 180% on cars, back in the days the goverment did this because to prevent people from buying too many cars (thats what i heard). I got a 1995 Celica 2.0 GT. Now take a deep breath, I paid 16294$ for this car, Had run 169.000, Had a broken water pump. When i bought it for 2 years ago, It was one of the cheapest on the market here in denmark, Around what you could import it for. From new, When they was sold in 1994, It costed 81474$ without extra stuff. the 2.0 that is Other examples: a Mercedes benz C class. the lowest benzin model cost's 126738$ in denmark. a Toyota / citroen / Peugot etc. Station car, with a decent Diesel engine cost's around 63369$ from new For around 15000 - 18000$ you can buy a Supra Twin turbo in great condition used in denmark WITHOUT tax. then if its Left hand steering its 180 % Tax, If its right hand steered, its 160%. For some reason a right hand one is cheaper... Its outright stupid. *Cries & Whines* Please show your sympaty :-D. Wow its nice to vent out this crap country's policy on cars...
