So, i was driving home from school on monday and all of a sudden, blue/grey smoke started coming from underneath my hood and exhaust. I pull over, and pop the hood. I start the car up again(it has a lil trouble starting) and it seemed like oil was be shot everywhere, i couldnt get a pinpoint location but it almost looked like it was coming from that little breather filter thats on the valve cover...oil was everywhere. The engine also had a violent shake to it.
When i got it to my dads, hes been a mechanic for 30+ years, no oil was in it. We pulled the plugs and the plugs from cylinders 3 and 2 were covered in oil, 1 and 4 were fine...i did a compression test and 3 and 2 had 0 compression.... WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! WHAT WENT WRONG?! I put a 1g dsm blowoffvalve on it on saturday, i apparently had it hooked up to the wrong vacuum line(the guy had the wrong line set up)...? Could that have been the cause? Im still wondering what could have happened...piston rings went? blew a gasket? Oil was being pulled through the turbo as well..a small small amount, turbo is still fine. How did oil get sucked into those two cylinders? How can i get it out? Is the motor done? GIVE ME YOUR HELPFUL WORDS!!!!! The guy who i bought it from on this site treated this thing very badly...he told me nothing and dindt say he was the 3rd or 4th owner I had to replace the starter and clutch after a week of owning it bumpppppp help asap!
