Im working on a beams motor, but i'm having an idle issue. I recently changed out the thermostat and radiator. For a while i was running with an open thermostat because i didn't have time or money to fix the problem.

It idles at 2k when warming up, and when it reaches normal operating temp it drops down to about 1500. I think it has to do with maybe vacuum or coolant. But i don't know where to start diagnosing? Can someone help?
