I finally found a good fix to the the popping that many of you have experience with ground control coilovers and many other brands. Heres the news flash I just posted on the website. Please check it out in a couple days for more info. I have one front set (4) of these bearings in stock ready to ship.
EvilSpeed Fixes Ground Control "POP" Do you have Ground Control coilovers? Do they pop every time you turn the steering wheel? EvilSpeed has found a way to fix this problem once and for all! By adding a specially sized needle bearing between the spring and the perches the spring can no longer bind and slip causing the annoying 'pop' heard so often with these coilovers. This system should work with other brands of coilover that use a 2.5" spring but compatability cannot be guaranteed. Prices start at $50 shipped for the front bearing kit or $85 shipped for the full set of 8 bearings (front and rear). Adding the bearings to the rear of the car is also recommended as it will eliminate any pops due to spring bind in the rear of the car. This will improve cornering consistency and make the ride more plesant. Full illustrated installation instructions will be included. The website will soon be updated with more information on this product. |
