Alright so my dad came over last night and we played around with the engine/tranny for a long time. The E154f transmission is a nightmare to work with, it's center of gravity is in no mans land and is heavy as hell. Anyways, I ground the block down so it fits; i've had it bolted up to the engine for a while now. However this time I added the flywheel and clutch. We finally got everything to dowel pins to align and go in. We were sucking the transmission up to the block. Finally seemed like we were done, the I tried to hand turn the crank over and it was completely frozen. I backed the transmission bolts off maybe 1/8" or 1/4" and the transmission seperated a bit, the crank would now spin freely like it's supposed to. Obviously something is binding, and not many people if any have ever had this combination; but any ideas? I gave up and I have to take it apart to figure it out; but i figured i'd post see if anyone has any ideas. I figure something has to physically pinched between the flywheel/clutch and the bellhousing of the transmission. -------------------- -93 Rx7, Turbo 6.1L v8, 725rwhp/760rwtq
