I found these pictures online, I was wondering if anyone knows where to buy dry sump parts for the 3sgte. I never knew anyone sold them.
For those of you that don't know what "dry sump" is...it's opposite from the 3sgte's normal "wet sump" style. A wet sump sucks the oil from the pan and the oil is used and then drained and held in the pan, a dry sump setup eliminates the oil pan, the oil is sucked out of the pan and held in a bottle. This allows the engine to be mounted lower in the engine bay, which gives the car a lower center of gravity. Most high end sports cars have the engines designed this way to drop the engine mass about 3 - 5 inches. It helps on cornering. -------------------- -Jay
