uk spec 1995 not starting Options

hello all..im running a 6th gen 2l gt st 202..1995 ...its uk spec..its been fine until last week..we wre on holiday for two weeks so left it at the airport..we came back at 2 am & tried to start the car..it was flat...ie no power/ignition lights,door interior lights..stone dead..the missus & me bumped started it..ie pushed it kept it in 2 nd gear & dumped the clutch ..it started first time..next day I replaced the battery..after checking voltage rate off the alternator..14 v ..so no alternator issue..i only ever had 1 x basic key..no keyfob..im sure this car has a built in immobiliser /transponder key..chip..but last night I couldent start it..it just kept cranking over..plenty of battery power..lights etc..it just keeps turning,turning over..i haven't took each plug out totest for spark,same with the relays fuses etc..I will do first thing tomorrow..where else should I look??..does the passenger side door work in unison with the drivers door ..ie unlock the car
