So I just started using 6gc constantly recently and decided well lets make a progression thread, my car is not as good as many other members i see but **** it why not start one! Everyone started somewhere! smile.gif

So lets get started, I bought my Red Celica from a mechanic i knew from work in autozone back in Jan of '12 and got it for $500 due to a wreck in the rear and car would not start. He said it the motor was ****ed and needs to be replace so I said screw it for $500 i got it that's how we met.
I started to mess with the car and found something stuck in the timing belt, so decided to take it apart and found a dead mouse stuck! it was like a rock and stinked horribly. Well i replace the belt, water pump and got a new battery and what do you know it started right up with great compression!
Well afterwards i lost my job and money was a huge problem for a very long time but just last year in (2013) i paid past due tags and got my baby working again and now its my main project! So Will be updating each time i get something done, big or small.

First Pic i can find of my red celi

I do have some bads on the car....
*Rear End of the car is wrecked pretty bad and will need to pull the frame and cut rear skin from another celi in the yard and weld. thats going to be done soon (hopefully)

* Also some other body damage, minor problems and off color rear bumper. Auto body is one of my specialties but waiting to fix the frame before i sand and paint the whole car smile.gif
