Hi All,
I have recently gotten a problem where when I step on the accelerator the RPMs will dip about 200 momentarily. It is worse when the car is not warmed-up, and it nearly stalled the other day. Once it's warmed, and if I'm really light on the throttle it will do OK but first and second gear are still shaky if I step on it at all. I have a 1994 Celica with a 1996 ST205 3S-GTE turbo charged engine. There was a leak on valve cover that was fixed recently. I am currently living in Los Angeles and quite some distance from the mechanic I previously went to and I do not have access to a garage. I have looked around on Yelp, called a number of places, and asked around but I'm not having much luck in finding someone that would be good to look my car. Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the LA area that I could go to? Many thanks on any help or suggestions! |
