So I was thinking. The guys with 2Gen MR2's run the 2GRFE swap.. Those unfamiliar with the motor it's basically the 3.5L V6 out of a newer Camry/Avalon/RAV4/ES350....... It's a great motor. Stock power is around the 280 hp range. They are also 20lbs lighter than the Iron 3SGTE or 5SGTE. In Australia they have the Aurion which is the Australian Camry that they stuck a Eton TRD Supercharger on 325hp. The Lotus Evora Supercharged version is 345hp or Evora 400 is 400hp.

Anyways they bolt right up to a E153 MR2 2WD Transmission. MR2 guys do it all the time. I have seen a photo of one bolted to a E154F before somewhere on a forum. So anyone willing to do it or have done it? I seen on Instagram that a guy swapped a 2GRFE in a 6GC convertible already. So I know it's doable. This dude can make a plug and play harness for it. http://www.wiregapinc.com/pricing/

I found a motor for $700 out of a RAV4 the other day.

I want to see AWD 2GRFE.

The 1GRFE crank out of the Tacoma/FJ Cruiser/4Runner supposably swaps in the 2GRFE to make a 4.0L Stroker Motor. And if you swapped the 2URFSE direct injected heads off a IS350 or GS350. We might have a high power Hybrid Motor. Then you could go Crazy and Stick the TRD Aurion Supercharger or Lotus Supercharger on it. Power could be in the 450hp - 500hp range and the torque curve would be linear.

This could be the new swap to do rather than a 3SGTE plus parts are easy to come buy. 3SGTE parts are getting harder and harder to find these days.

Kind of a Newbe to the forum but hope to bring some life in the discussion page. I know my crap about Toyota's/Lexus's just need the funds to have fun with the knowledge. Haha Let me know if this has been discussed before?
