Okay so basically my 94 ST had a cracked block (that had some kind of temporary fix to it that masked anything I could see) when I bought it back in december and it blew out after about 3k miles.

So my question is regarding the 7AFE engine that is in that model. Are all the 7AFE engines the same? And I mean all of them, even between different car brands.

I'm guessing the heads are probably different and I could probably salvage the ones off of my car if that is the case.

Thanks

Right direction

I believe the majority of issue is with the intake manifold. Swapping over from the old solves that issue.

The engines are the same i believe. Only the newer ones are OBDII instead of OBDI. Maybe the newer ones have EGR and the older ones not? Don't know that for sure though!
