I hadn't washed the MR2 for a WHILE, and I had put off polishing the wheels for over 6 months, so I took care of it today.

Neither. biggrin.gif This serves the same purpose as the RX 300- Getting me back and forth to work, hauling the dog to keep it out of the other two cars, and getting around in bad weather. However... (cue long backstory- skip if you're short on time) I got home from work Saturday night, filled the Lexus up with gas. Ran fine when I pulled out of the gas station but in the less than half mile journey from the gas station to my apartment, it started running like crap. Drove it Sunday night, ran fine. Drove it again yesterday, started bucking on the highway, idling rough, CEL was flashing. Took it to check the code, and found out I had not one but 11 codes. True story. It's 12 years old and has 225,000 miles on it. Anyway, found the root cause of all the codes, bought the replacement sensor, and decided today I needed something newer for my 170 mile commute to work.

So I picked this bad boy up, it's an '06, base, 127,000 miles (as opposed to 225k on the Lexus), and best of all I now have a warranty. I'm a little worried by the fact that my ratio of Toyota to non-Toyota vehicles is a little skewed, but time will tell if it was a bad decision. At least the BEAMS is still running strong!
