Just a Heads up, if you are messaged by him saying he has parts you posted in a WTB thread I highly suggest not talking to him. its been over 3 months and I have not received the part I asked for, nor did I get the money back when I asked and he never replies to any messages.

I come here for help and the chance to buy misc parts that are hard to find or I can find at a better price, I don't need to be ripped off. We've had a few cases before, and this needs to stop.

Indeed. I'm glad I only sent him a small amount, shame on me for trusting an interweb stranger and disregarding previous transaction reviews left for him. Too bad these things occur.

I don't understand how so many people can be such deadbeats when it comes to selling.
If you're going to post something for sale. explect replies so check back frequently.
If you don't have the time to sell, then don't post, simple as that.

Sorry this happened to you guys, and it really sucks that this continues to occur

Paypal - Pay the fees for a "payment" so you are protected. Screw being nice with sending it as a "gift"

Sellers should compensate themselves or adjust prices if they want to save a few dollars for the loss of buyer security.

I recently went against my own advice and paid with another method to a different seller, because I was desperate for the part. That won't happen again.

agreed. I always send as a payment because if anyone is gonna get screwed, most likely it's never the seller but the buyer. but that sucks to hear for you guys.

This is why I only buy off eBay. At least then you have a good level of protection when it comes to these kinds of things. If I were to ever find anything on a forum I wanted I'd have them make an Ebay listing at a higher price to offset fees. If they're honest they shouldn't have too much of a problem with doing such.

That is a pretty valid solution.

Though, I do appreciate and use the reputation system on this forum.

Nowhere as often though. Some protection is better than none.

I haven't seen him online, but if he has then damn him. Someone should cut off the nose of his car and place it in his bed, that'll teach him.
