You'll never know the joy of driving a manual until your left knee is bandaged up and you have to drive. Turns out my patella is off center, causing it to give out. Logic says buy an automatic, but I'm stubborn so I'll deal with it.

Today I realized I'm an idiot.

I wired my radiator fans (aftermarket 18" ones) with the blue wire from the fan to the blue wire on the OEM plug. Black wire from the fan to the black wire on the OEM switch. Logic and a poorly translated Chinese instruction booklet says that I did it right. Wrong, fans are blowing towards the front of the car, sucking air from the exhaust and blowing it towards the already hot radiator. So blue goes to black and black to blue. Yup. -.-

YAY POSSIBLY NO MORE DRIVING WITH THE HEAT ON FULL BLAST!!! lol.

Got around preping my gt4 splitters for a repaint! It's all sanded down. This is my first time to prep anything for repaint too. How did I do on my first time ever sanding?

It actually looks really cool like that lol.

The most important thing while sanding is to smooth out the finish so that when you lay a coat down, it's not bumpy. Looks pretty smooth to me. For a primer, be sure to get something that will build, in case there are some surface defects, and find a primer close to the color that you're planning on finishing with. Take your time while painting and make sure to lay down many small layers instead of one large one and it'll blend fine. If you want to get really fancy, a wet sand after clear coating it with some REALLY fine grit will polish it up a bit.

Yea. I dont know what to do really. Im using duplicilor adhesive promoter as primer but that's clear. Was thinking of spraying on top of that with some white primer then my silver paint and gloss. Don't know if that's possible though?

Thats exactly what I used for the adhesive promoter, and then I used primer, black, paint, and clear coat. mine came out okay and looked just like yours after sanding

Adhesive promoter then primer, then follow with colour coat and clear. Let it sit for about a week then wet-sand it with fine grit sand paper, then use buffing compound followed by polishing compound. Then wash and wax. Of course that's me being OCD, you could probably bypass the compounds and just wash and wax after wet-sanding.

And if you really want to be anal you sand it down again after priming it.

today I get my JDM mirrors, they have all the parts required so it should be easy to install.

I know is a stupid question but I notice the left mirror is the same as the right, in Japan they don't have the wide vision like in the right mirror in USDM version ?

Should be able to take the USDM mirror and put them into the JDM housing, at least one would think so, if you're wanting the wide angle.

well not today but yesterday was super productive. Finished installing vincent's seat covers on my seats (in the living room...teh wifey is not happy), wrapped my a-pillars and sunroof cover in leather, laid a few more layers of fiberglass down in my trunk boxes, tinted the windows, resprayed the wiper arms, and manifold heat shield. And managed to knock out a few tire re & re's, all intermingled together. Today....I rest

Today I attached blue wires to black wires and black wires to blue wires. My fans now suck instead of blow. Who woulda thunk? Reverse the polarity! Wooo... damn non-color coordinated aftermarket fans lol. -.-
