My goodies came in and only ended up costing me $372 Got Cam and crank seals, thermostat and gasket, valve cover gasket, idler tensioner pulley and spring, timing belt, water pump, and an oil pump gasket. Got it all way cheaper then what it would have cost me to go straight to Toyota and get (they wanted ~$400 for just the timing change stuff). Mind the mess, this was right before I took it in to work and had it washed and cleaned out. Also I saw this when I went to a gas station here in town, no 6gc but still nice This post has been edited by travisxcore: May 4, 2013 - 7:28 PM |

You're 21 O.o I always assumed you were like 45 or something.... must be all the complaining about your knees Yep, I'm that old. Bad knees run(no pun intended) in the family. My uncle and grandfather have had problems with them all their lives. They're knotted, and that causes problems. I learned though if I bend my leg out to the side, as in how I walk, to push the clutch it helps a lot in regards to pain. Though the problem there is I might heel toe shift when I don't want to. Oh well. This post has been edited by Box: May 5, 2013 - 2:36 AM -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

The latter in particular has done great things for my family and one of my mates who has had very sever troubles with knotting muscles through his neck and back. -------------------- SOLD :( 1997 ST204 Celica ZR -----> See it here on 6GC! 2013 October Celica of the Month XD Now: '00 NB8B Mazda MX5 -----> See it here in off topic! |

I'm assuming you've tried everything... but have you gone to physios and a chiropractor? The latter in particular has done great things for my family and one of my mates who has had very sever troubles with knotting muscles through his neck and back. There's nothing that can be done, aside from maybe surgery. There's nothing they could do for grandfather and uncle aside from giving them a brace. I already have a few braces that I can wear. This is the first time it's really given me any problems. I tried to drive "proper" and have my legs completely straight for operating the pedals, and that's when the problem arose. If I bow them out it's fine, though my right knee is against the dash next to the air temperature knob and my left knee is up against the dash and wheel when it's out between shifting. Due to my knees being the way they are my legs don't go out like | | but more like \ /. So driving like I walk helps, it just makes things kind of claustrophobic feeling. If I have time I'll take a picture later. Cougars are fantastic. She wasn't bad looking. Just the whole possibly old enough to be my mom kind of thing. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Today I realized I should probably buy the wiring harness and ecu out of this camry in the junkyard before it's too late. It would make things a lot easier for my V6 swap....way later on down the road.

Do it, If they're anything like my junkyard it's dirt cheap. I love Pull-A-Part. I can get an engine for less than what's been spent on dinner at times.
Also, here's what it looks like when I drive. Plenty of headroom, just not so much on the rest. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

That's ok, I was out for lunch with my grandparents and my brother for his birthday and the waitress kept going on about how pretty my hair was. She was in her early 20's, so at least this time the age is appropriate.
I can't go anywhere anymore without being attacked it'd seem, nowhere is safe. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

I discovered on my trip to and fro Raleigh, that I get worse gas mileage on the interstate then I do in town.
Went to the gas station at 305.3 miles and put in 12.151 gallons so 25mpg Although my mpg is already poopoo to begin with cause I need to change my thermostat (stuck open) and pbly the fuel filter among other things. I think I average like 28 on a good week. This post has been edited by travisxcore: May 5, 2013 - 11:53 PM |
