today i decided to take her out on a nice drive through some nice twisty roads to see how much the trd springs helped out my aging suspension. felt a lot better on the twisty's and it looks good. need bigger wheels so im probably gonna grab a set of 7th gen rims since i think they look the best for the price. took some pics but ill upload them later.

Any of you guys know, if our cars have a stock location for connecting DRLs(daylight running lights)?
I've read that the Canadian version has them stock, but mine sure is not, so I'll be installing my own and looking for an easy wiring job. -------------------- |

Almost completely stripped... one wheel. -.- Takes so long! Paint stripper and a wire wheel are your best friends. I've been using a stripping wheel. I'm a bit afraid of using paint stripper though... Heard horror stories about how it pits the metal on aluminum. -------------------- 1994 Toyota Celica GT-S 5S-FE 190k Miles. The easiest way would be to get a 4 pin relay and inline fuse, then find a source that turns on when the car does to trigger the relay. That or run the trigger off the side-markers. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

I was planning the same thing, but wanted to make sure there is not easier/OEM way to do things.
By side-markers do you mean blinkers? How would I go around wiring to them so the DRL will go on and off with the engine? -------------------- |

Today I reinstalled the Dub wheels, now in burnt copper. Changed the oil. Ordered front pads & rotors.

How would I go around wiring to them so the DRL will go on and off with the engine? By side-markers I mean the side-marker lights. On your car it's the small rectangular light on the fender near the door. Using the side-markers as a trigger will have the DRL go on with them. As far as turning on as soon as the car does the only thing I can think of would be to use the cig lighter as a trigger perhaps. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Hmm, I have the chance to buy a 92 Miata for $500... Seller says it ran warm one day and was told it'd needed a head gasket, kind of thinking it may just be the thermostat myself. Oddly enough they live a street across from my dad, may have to check into it... Also needs a top and some paint work, but that's not a big deal.
