actually i did have problems with that 02 sensor. I failed to plug it on my first few drives and the car ran like crap. would not idle, and turn off. i ran like an old beater, until i went back and checked all my connections, was that i found out what it was, then i just pulled the ecu fuse, and had the ecu learn again, and it made a difference. just try to put it in the same location, you cant run without it, but slightly moved, wont make a diff. I've run without it, no problems. Not even a CEL. I had a borrowed AEM UEGO in place of the sensor and the ECU couldn't have cared less. It stored a code, but it wasn't important enough to illuminate the light. As far as I know, turnip has never used his O2 sensor. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. You could always check on Celica Club UK- they are usually parting out a few 6th gens. There are two members here, cww180 and Vincent_ Doggy who could probably source one for you.

Yes, you should be able to. Looking at my harness (currently on my bedroom floor), you'll need to extend those wires and put those to the right places on the EA1 plug AND wire them up to the engine-side relay box. The engine-side relay box will be the most difficult part, but doable.

i will pm you my email bonzai. thanks. one more thing guys, for my dad(the master mechanic behind all this) i paid for the beams & parts but i couldnt thank him enough for putting all this together with me. he wants to know how you guys prefer to go about getting the stock harness from the dash. he basically wants to know if you guys prefer to strip the whole dash apart including the top part, or if it is possible just from the lower parts.

I've done it a couple of times in parts cars. I took the whole dash out. No reason to fight it. Would be a great time to replace your heater core and a/c evap core as well. They're cheap and you don't want to take your dash out again later. But why does your dad want to pull the dash harness out? RHD swap?

you're saying i dont have to take the dash harness out? how do you free the harness from the 5s without taking the dash harness out? i'm confused now. i have a whole beams wire harness except for the relay box.

Nope, the dash harness can stay put. The fusebox under the hood is a two-part fusebox. Half stays with the car, half stays with the engine. I assume that's the part you're missing? After that, there are 4 plug that go to the BEAMS ECU inside the car (3 for the 5S.) Then there are three more plugs that join the BEAMS harness and dash harness together, and one last plug for the a/c. Out of the three plugs that conjoin the dash harness and BEAMS harness, you'll need to repin the clutch start wire. Easy stuff. You can access those wires by taking the glove box and lower dash panel (part your knees hit underneath the radio) out.
