Like why my idle is high! The throttle position sensor is reading 11% with no throttle input. Uh oh!

Odd. You can only barely adjust the TPS on the BEAMS. Just whatever play the screw holes have is all it can be adjusted. Mine barely showed any change in voltage when I replaced my TPS. I'd say your TPS might be kaput... They're cheap and easy to replace. '00-05 Corolla has the same part number. I think mine was like $30. I may even still have the old one, which still worked perfectly, at my dad's house.

And you're holding everyone over on the Owners Club in suspense, including me!

(My guess is, it's short some pins and grab serial and the frames happen to be the same size...)

Alas though, today I polished up my S2000 for Cars and Coffee tomorrow, and got a shipment notification from Lithia for my BEAMS stuff!

I shouldn't listen to exhaust videos on YouTube anymore, now I have to buy something with a V8. I like the warm and fuzzy feeling it gives me. tongue.gif Even only I could use some kind of black magic to make the I4 sound like that.

My uncle said he would give me an amp!

I don't even know what they were thinking. The cup holder was an obvious afterthought. Another thing I wonder about is the ashtray in the back of the console. No one of smoking age can even fit back there...

haha that is true! I filled my car up with 5 people and it was not a comfy ride for 3 of them. tongue.gif

You guys know, if I can use the hatch strut bars (I don't know if that's the exact name for them) and with some fabrications mount them on the front hood? Anyone seen this mod done with them? There's a Celica in a local scrap yard I can snatch them from.

Depending on how much you can get them for, you can try? I dont have much idea, depends on size i guess.
But they are $50 on eBay for a proper set.

It's still somewhat pricy for my taste and not than needed of a mod. Not that our Celicas brake that often for the hood to be opened frequently. biggrin.gif

Today I took the TRD Splitters, sanded (180 then 400), Prepped and Primed them and removed the OEM tape (That was a b***h to do)...
After Sanding:

Primed:

Have to have them finished and installed for the Toyota Owners Club Australia annual drive next weekend; why did it have to start raining ?>.<

I have them on my car. Sokitech I think it's the name in eBay. They have them specd for steel hood and aluminum gt4 hood. Great product. Comes with brackets and everything.

I don't like angry sounds though, I like lazy burbly sounds. tongue.gif I'd be interested in an exhaust video though, I don't think I've heard a BEAMS yet. At least not one filmed in HD.

Went to car show. Almost no imports except an old MG. there was one guy trying to sell us a 90 300 tt for 8,000 all was good till I looked inside. AUTO thumbsdown.gif

On the way home I turned on the fan for the first time. It shook the floorboards. When I got home I removed the fan and it was full of acorns. guess some guests moved in while it was stored in the barn. Tomorrow the CAI gets installed.
