Hello everyone ,
Since last year timing worked perfect I believe it is right time to start talking about calendar 2014 (if we want some here of course ). I suggest this timing: June - August = submitting some low resolution samples here in this topic (width 800 pixels would be for display purpose fine) to let us all know how many people is interested to participate. August = collection of high resolution samples for print purpose (3437 x 2043 pixels or higher). That means if you do not have picture in high resolution there is no sense post in here anything. Sorry. All will be send as usual to my e-mail. 1st of September = selection of 12+1 (public voting, no mistakes from the last year) 15th of September = FS topic start 15th of October = calendar printing November = distribution to all buyers (so you all will have it at home before Christmas for 100% ). Update September 1st: The list of posted pictures created to not miss anyone. I have lots more in slightly different orientations. I wasn't sure how many pictures to post, don't want to show too many.
These are pictures from my last ever drive in my GT4 it is now being broken up for spares for my project car. I am going to miss it -------------------- |

Nial, great work... Thank you for pictures. Just picked one and used in template . I would pay $$$ for that. Instead of the faded solid black colour, why don't you try and experiment with a faded carbon fiber pattern? Just a suggestion, might as well see what it looks like -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

here is another detail shot.
I was thinking of hitting up Art (lagos) and seeing if I could get a similar shot of his car so there would be some of the vents of the gt-four hood in the pic. Itd probably look a bit more interesting than a plain ol st204 Maybe find a corner to throw this shot in? -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

Woa Nice stuff gent's ! So question has a coupe ever made the calender? Doubtful, besides Ted95, coomers and a few others, I havent seen much interest from coupe owners in personalizing and adding to their rides. Not that that is a requirement, but it does help. here is another detail shot. Itd probably look a bit more interesting than a plain ol st204 Maybe find a corner to throw this shot in? That would be a very tastefull addition. Not to flashy, subtle yet defining. |

Which one? This one. You can see the whole stance of the car, which is great, your car sits very well, and there is not the industrial building in the background, which brings the focus more on the celi. I think this is a good pic, and the gt4 Wheels looks great. Having the shot in more, like the third option, you lose some of the dramatic element that is present when the shot is of the full car. Just my thoguhts, but there it is. |

The Camera decided 'I don't want to use RAW, I'ma shoot some .jpg now' so they arnt large enough ;( Btw, you're not allowed into the calendar if you haven't cleaned the brake dust off your rims before pics... sorry And JPG should be good enough for most things except for extensive editing. I only shoot RAW when I have some intention to post-process, otherwise it is easiest to go full resolution, max detail JPG. -------------------- SOLD :( 1997 ST204 Celica ZR -----> See it here on 6GC! 2013 October Celica of the Month XD Now: '00 NB8B Mazda MX5 -----> See it here in off topic! |

So not like this?
In saying that, the pic I posted earlier would be covered in brake dust. Car was filthy. Haha Also as far as I knew the jpeg was the same resolution, but not as good quality as its already processed? Anyway, think we should leave this thread just for the calendar entries now. -------------------- |

Raw Pixel dimensions will be the exact same as your L Jpg pixel dimensions
Raw is just an uncompressed file, you wont be able to really tell the difference in the end result (which is the calendar hah) This post has been edited by Tigawoods: Jun 7, 2013 - 6:25 AM -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

Got cleaned this morning, then I drove 300km and they got dirty again LOL.... I only shoot on RAW, hardly ever on JPG. RAW images are so much easier to adjust and 'fix' if something goes wrong... The JPG images were only 1888x by something pixels which isn't large enough for the calender... The photos I got last night were large enough, but I forgot all about positioning and none are suitable for the calender as they arn't positioned right...
