Yea I bought it off some guy in Poland that still apparently produces them so he cut me a lil bit of a deal. He makes front and back splitters too along with a buncha other stuff. I'd like to have projectors but, $600 and then another $100ish for HIDs is just way to much to spend on lights. This means I need to hurry up and put on my new powersteering pump so it won't be dripping everywhere like crazy in the guys shop haha. You can get the projectors a lot cheaper than that Refer to my following post in a few minutes: -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

Gonna double-post cause this will have lots of photos
Anyway woke up this morning to find a package not at my house... So I jumped online and looked at the tracking *Delivered* ... What the hell? As I was about to call Australia post, my neighbor rang the doorbell and stated that the deliveryman has delivered a package to them, addressed to me... Not only did the driver misread '16' as '11' he also ignored the fact that it was 'signed and tracking' post. My neighbor said that thw doorbell rang, and by the time he got to the front door, the guy had jumped in his van and was driving up the road... (They also live 1story up, so this driver power ran or something). Anyway, rant aside: Had to post this: After the quick photoshoot, I found that they have some damage that was caused during transit Nothing that isn't repairable, but just means I probably wont have them on by the meet on Sunday Low-Beam Tab: High-Beam Tab: Total cost: AUD$450 including EMSpost and the lights. The cost was around US$430. EMS POst alone was US$135 I paid for them on Monday Night. and they arrived Friday Morning. Question of the day, why is it so damned hard to find API GL-4 gear oil? Trying to find some for my brother's Maxima, it calls for GL-4 specifically due the transmission have yellow metals. You'd think with the classic car market it'd be somewhat readily available. Found some for $30 a gallon online. Meh, I told him to just buy a car that uses GL-5.

PROBLEM IDENTIFIED!!! (Well, hopefully ) The car hasn't overheated again, but it has been losing coolant. No bubbles in the radiator, and still very clean oil from the recent service with no water in it, but no sign of any big leak at the front of the engine... but what about the back?... -------------------- SOLD :( 1997 ST204 Celica ZR -----> See it here on 6GC! 2013 October Celica of the Month XD Now: '00 NB8B Mazda MX5 -----> See it here in off topic! |

I went to go get my bodywork quoted today-without the duckbill on hand to see how well it matches-he quoted me $400-$500 and told me this is the kinda stuff he gets really excited for; fab work is his thing. This includes taking the hatch off, welding shut the spoiler holes then fiberglassing and flushing them out, fixing the dent in the rear, seamlessly molding (permanently) the duckbill on, sanding it all down, respraying and labor. I'm getting a good deal cause my car is a repeat customer and the guy I bought it from told me to go talk to him and hed work me out a good deal. On top of all this the guy is damn good. A '63 Ford Galaxy he worked on just headlined an American Muscle magazine and hes just a one man shop operating in a metal shop in his backyard. If that's not good enough, he might take in for an "apprenticeship" so I can learn how to do it all. Should be getting started on it in a week or so and then I'll make a project thread for it. If anyone else in the Charlotte NC area needs any interior/exterior fab or paint work let me know, this is guy to go to for sure. This post has been edited by travisxcore: Jun 7, 2013 - 8:02 PM |
