thanks for the feedback, guys, i really do appreciate it!
as for the length, i think about an hr is just about right, once we get things more formatted and structured, it will fall into place alot better. we did this first one on a drunken whim, i think dustin did it more jokingly at first just to see if i would lose it and go on a drunken rant..lol as we get more practice at it, and really start planning them out and what not, i think it has real potential! -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

Great idea. as our cars get older so do the owners and I think we fall in to two main groups, tuners and keepers. I being one of the later. Hope you will cover topics of interest to both groups. maybe you could cover rear suspension and your comments on re-bushing the rear trailing arms on my 94 gts in one of your future episodes. Looking forward to hearing more. A few less "F" bombs would good , a lot less would be even better. Good luck with this endeavor.

dont worry, kurt, my idea is to definetly cover the v6 swap, when we do, what i will probably do is try to get one of you guys that has done the swap on as a guest. so, if your willing to be a part of the podcast, please let us know here!
i am planning on trying to cover as many diffrent topics as we can, exterior, interior, suspension, everything! I think we will also have "guest" spots, where we have members on the podcast to talk about different subjects, especially guys that have specific info on things like the V6 swap, the SSII & SSIII stuff, ect ect...like i said earlier, post your ideas, we'll try to cover as many of them as we can! i also really like the idea of having the COTM winner on for a guest spot as well, if we end up doing weekly episodes, we can just pick a week to have them on, just a matter of if each winner is into it, and if we can figure out a good time for everyone, ect. ultimately, i'd like to see it develop into a real resource for you guys, so that when newer members are looking for info on a particular subject, we could say for instance "ohh your gonna wanna listen to episode 4 of the podcast" or whatever, and they could get useful information on whatever subject it happens to be. with the particular service i signed up for, we get 10, 1hr episodes we can do for free. what i am figuring is as long as we can get it going well enough before we finish 10 episodes, i'll do whatever it takes to keep it going from there, provided you guys are still interested..lol hey, who knows, if we can get enough interest, maybe i can get a couple sponsors to help me out and get better quality equipment to do the podcasts with, ect, and get you guys some discounts in the process! as for the f-bombs, sorry, its just force of habit, after i listened to it, i was more annoyed by how many times i said "bottom line is..." and "look, guys..." than the cussing..lol i think as we develop some skill at it, things will get alot smoother, and be alot less all over the place...at least thats what im "hoping" for anyway..hell, if you had told me before we did it that it would have over 200 listens, with 90+ unique listeners, for our first ever podcast, i would have called you crazy! so thanks for the support! -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

i also really like the idea of having the COTM winner on for a guest spot as well, if we end up doing weekly episodes, we can just pick a week to have them on, just a matter of if each winner is into it, and if we can figure out a good time for everyone, ect. I'll think of more ingenious ideas later. Like others mentioned covering the different models and engine swaps would be good, along with exterior and interior things. Maybe do segments on suspension and brakes as well, since that's something everyone could benefit from regardless of what they have under the hood. Maybe a small segment on what makes the Celica better than it's competition, and perhaps insight from those that have built their Celica. Eh, a catchy theme song and intro video always helps. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed
