IT HAS BEEN A MONTH NOW THAT I HAD GOT MY CAR PAINTED AT MACCO AND I JUST WANTED TO SHARE IT ON HERE SINCE I NEVER DID. JUST LIKE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU 6GC FANS. DAMN, WE SURE LOVE OUR CELICAS. BTW I'M FROM FRESNO, CALIFORNIA. NOT MUCH TO SHOW BUT ENJOY.

FUTURE PLANS: SS-III FRONT SPITTERS, REAR VISOR, GT-4 BLOCK, AFTERMARKET MUFFLER....SO ON..

2.2? Thanks for specifying. We wouldn't have known the GT had that displacement. Flex Fuel and VVTi? Get the **** outta here. laugh.gif

Remove the stupid emblems, and that hideous Toyota sticker on the gas tank and your car will look awesome.

^ I agree with what they said. those stickers might impress someone who doesn't know anything about cars but everyone else will just roll their eyes. I dont think you want to be on the receiving end of that exchange.

Other than that its a very nice looking car! silver is one of the best colors on a celica imho. thumbsup.gif

just please restrain yourself from slamming it, hella-flushing it, or any other of those gimmicky things people do with their cars.

Here is where I would comment about how slapping a vvti/flexfuel sticker on the cover is well....whatever. Its your Celica so do whatever makes you happy I guess. And who cares that they dont know its a Celica, let the ones that dont know guess and the ones that do know appreciate it.

yea alot of people told me not to go to Macco because they do a ****ty job, but u never know before you try it. So I prep the car and sanded my car as much as I can with just my hands(no power tools were used), i think i did a bomb as job(Macco says it too during the estimate). I wanted to stick with silver color, but a much more darker silver of the OEM Silver. So I went with the 1 year warranty paint job($250). It cost me $390 out the door because my car was pretty much dent free.(I also had a discount too that's why). They took only 3 days to finish my car. It was nice and smooth with no over spray and only minor orange peels. I was satisfied.

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif I forgot about the Flex Fuel emblem. I remember this thread and I remember intentionally staying out of it. You know the old adage, if you don't have anything nice to say.... Glad to see this car is in better hands now. thumbsup.gif

True that. First thing on my head when I bought the car was to remove all the pointless decals. Especially that flex fuel. LOL!
