I love the way 2nd gens sound. Theres one for sale here at junkyard warehouse kinda deal but the guy wont budge a dime below 800 "cause its super rare" and he says it won't fit in a 6GC. laugh.gif Now that's cheaper then an ebay motor and its local but its got a busted throttle body and 224k miles.

You ditched your AFM which means now your using an internal MAP sensor and now your about to throw in a megasquirt diy ems and tune the **** outta it or something like that right?

Today I went to a Subaru meet, and met some cool people. One of them happened to be a former 6gc member. The only bad thing was that being around all those STi's is that now I want to engine swap for more speed. laugh.gif

I saw a celica in the movie The Darkest Hour. Its right when they are asking an old lady that is bricking up her windows for directions. It is a facelift and has jdm tails, and a rear window visor, spoilerless, also looks to have jdm projectors on the front.

I totally noticed that when I saw the movie too!

Thinking about removing my front hood/bonnet spoiler, is it even worth it trying to sell it?

In the weekend I did some maintenance, new distributor, rotor and spark plugs. took me a while to do the plugs as I couldn't get them out. Started some interior cleaning and a few touch ups. Have oil + filter to do soon and a good polish aswell.

Today I:
Started the Spree LED Install by doing the CC Unit LEDs.

Still not liking the spread, will have to go back in when I get a chance and adjust the angle of the third LED somehow...

I adjusted my headlights. They were pointing too low, so now they're where they're supposed to be. Can see even better now. tongue.gif Been driving the last few days in miserable heat, and having to use the A/C. I can't help but parody the old lady in that Wendy's commercial, "Where's the power!?" laugh.gif Damn I need a car with torque... Having to turn off the A/C when climbing hills and pulling onto highways and interstates at a decent speed is embarrassing. Well, I don't HAVE to but it certainly helps to do such... Sad thing is after lowering my tire pressure by 20% I actually enjoy the car otherwise.

Need a GT... or a 3rd Gen / V6 swap tongue.gif

And I bought these today biggrin.gif

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/H13T-JDM-TOYOTA...=true&rt=nc

To replace the set that is still an ongoing eBay dispute. And I told the guy I bought the last set off for $105 + p&p where to stick it, and that I would be getting a refund instead of a replacement and he sheepishly accepted as soon as the postal request is finished processing.

One question though - I assumed those black plastic / rubber bits hanging off might have been to seal off behind the mirror, but I haven't seen them on any other pics.... have I bought the right thing? tongue.gif

Dude, if you find another set for that price, buy them and I'll toss you some extra cash for them. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places but I never see them cheaper than $175 USD.

I have never seen them anywhere near that either tongue.gif It was an auction and I was the only serious bidder. I actually low balled it and bid $85, but won it for $20 tongue.gif

The last set I bought were the cheapest I had seen at $105 + postage and they hung around for a couple of weeks, I think they may have another set but I certainly wouldn't recommend buying from them tongue.gif

But I'll let you know if I see another one tongue.gif
