Hi all,
I don`t know if I have posted this in the correct section, so if I have stepped on any toes, may I say As title states I have a Gen6 TRD spoiler, that was fitted to a convertible here in the Uk, I am told by a member on here that it also fits the booted Curren. I do know it will not fit my 95 gen6 tailgate, without some form of homemade adaptor,s. It is in very good condition, ie no splits on wing, the original fixings and plates are with it. There are some wear and tear marks and a tiny chip that barely show on the top corner of one leg (I have tried to show in pics) other than that it is near perfect. What I really need to know is, what is it worth? Anyone have experience with selling these items ? I do realise value is down to who wants it, and what they are prepared to pay. My wife (is a member of ccuk known as Dragon Queen) loves the style and had it fitted ours, I wouldnt be typing this request, I personally would love to make some mini raiser block adaptors to make it fit our car. Naturally if the spoiler is low in value then I win, if high then I have the long search for another Trd spoiler that fits. Any help is appreciated and thanks in advance regards tony http://i1292.photobucket.com/albums/b580/d...b0.jpg~original |

It's worth what someone will pay for it. That being said I'd think at the least $300 for a genuine piece with no chips and cracks.

Brand new they are ¥125,000 = $800GBP, so I'd think 200-350GBP range.Though in saying that I managed to buy my TRD hatchback spoiler for 130GBP.
As it wont fit your ST202, AT200 & ST205's over there, only your ST202C and Currens, but I don't think you have as many as us over there. -------------------- |

Thanks Rusty, very imformative, appreciated. There does seem to be more of a negative attitude here in the Uk towards fitting a spoiler to a convertible, each to there own thoughts, would be very very boring if we all thought like it though.
As you say, the Curren is very limited here or the Trd would have been snapped up, saying that I havnt advertised it as yet, if the truth be told I am seriously leaning towards making some adaptors (mini raiser blocks) and fitting it. That was a class buy re-- your spoiler, puts things in perspective as to " Value ", there is always what you need out there, just a case of being in the right place right time, and knowing what you are prepared to, or have available to spend. regards tony |
