how hard would it be to start an "engine management" sub-section on the forums here? I can see how this topic would go under forced induction, but if we had an engine management section it would be a great way to have a lot of consolidated information similar to what we've been discussing here.

The problem is, that the 3 of us are part of maybe 5 people on this forum that have an management system...
You are better of looking at mr2oc.
This forum is even better and you can learn a lot:

wow..only 5 of us? hmm, ok then. I thought there would be more.

yeah, I spent the money to go through efi university's certification program back in 06 or 07. Well worth the money spent! I fell in love with the Autronic there since we did a lot of playing around with it and some other EMS's on the dynos they have. Ben Strader is a genius

I'm pulling that number out of my ass, but the majority of people don't have one.

Thats really cool that you took their program. I heard good things about it. I just recently found their forums and there seems to be some good tech talk there that is pretty universal.

it was very informative, learning to tune a car on paper and then plug the numbers in to the ecu. Tons of cool formulas and calculation. Testing coil duration and spark heat...etc...really cool stuff. I feel I have forgotten some things, but I still have my book from there that I flip through and am reminded of things.

I used to spend some time on their forums, but that was a long time ago, I don't even know if my login is still valid, or if I even remember what it is.
