An what is wrong with yellow (sharpens knife waiting for response) It's yellow. Red and orange are also terrible. Black, blue, purple, and teal are much nicer colours. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Riding on 17's works on some cars, like the Supra.
The only thing yellow has going for it is Pikachu. Now I'd take a Porsche 911 in yellow. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

^ Yes you're right. Then again if I want bigger spacers then I rather buy new wheels with better fitment.
So tonight a red mr2 pulled through our drive thru. Talked to the guy and he was from Florida and trying to make it a Cali car. He told me how he's bought so many parts to make it legal in Cali like EGRs and cats. Then I asked about what engine he has and he said it was swapped with a usdm 3sgte. I told him so you're getting it BAR'd also? He looked at me clueless......*facepalm* I told him he'll need to google it because there's no point of installing all the Cali emission components when it won't be BARable. Then he got his food and drove off. -------------------- |

Trying to get everything worked out on my busy month.
Road trips! have to meet richee3 to pick up those awesome Batman rims. (already have a cigar and having the chainsaw tuned up. so all that is left is to shave the chest hair.) Next trip is to meet up with dkdmonk to pick up all the st205 goodies. With all this stuff and the projectors and parts I bought from calijeff the car should look a lot different by Christmas. Last trip will be to relax a little up in Mane. Going on a low tech vacation. Windjammer cruse. -------------------- |

swapped the non-working original antenna with the Honda S2000 antenna.
Look at my journal page for more information and pictures. *edit* went to go see "The Conjuring" today at 1:15. On the way to the Walgreen's (Where we get our candy for the movie for $1.00)... I noticed that I hit 175,001 miles. This post has been edited by Overkill: Aug 7, 2013 - 3:36 PM |

I went to OReileys to claim my warranty on my dizzy today they told me their was no possible way I could have bought it there because it still had the Denso and Toyota markings on it. I told them the exact date and price I paid and the fact that it was under my name on my card and they refused to look it up. All they kept saying was "We don't sell those parts here" I about flipped, especially cause one of the guys I talked to was there the day I bought it. And of course I lost my receipt which really doesn't matter cause they store warranties in the computer. So I'm gonna go back tomorrow and talk to a manager about it cause I'm not paying another $105 for something I have a lifetime warranty on that their too lazy to look up.

Lifetime warranty could also be handled by the Manufacturer... I am going off my experience with Computer Parts here, but every time I've lost the receipt and something needs to be replaced I contact the manufacturer directly for warranty.... I think it was Import Direct or something like that, but they don't sell dizzys for 6GCs there anymore (if they ever did) and I have zero information on them. Also computer parts...how I love RMAs... |

^ I'll say, drunkie. That's the best deal on a presumably intact engine I've read about.

Yeah, now comes the fun part of harness work. Hopefully my boy comes through for me (he does a lot of the wiretucks/standalone stuff around here) so I don't have to send my harness out.
My pick and pull junkyard had just taken the car in, and they owed me a favor after they took my $200 and never pulled the 3SGE.with 61k they should have, and accidentally scrapped it. If I pulled it, it would have been $150, so for $50 I'll let them pull it. This post has been edited by bnr32celica: Aug 8, 2013 - 10:25 PM |

Today I found out that the right side tail light holder is screwed, and I have to go find a new one in the junk yards this weekend. I also replaced the fuel ignition relay in the Honda CRX I am trying to sell to see if it would start. I also put a freshly charged battery in and when I went to turn the key... nothing. Now the lights wont even come on. I have to check the main fuse to make sure I didnt blow that. UGH!

Could be something from BWD or Intermotor. SMP (Mother company to BWD and Intermotor) makes all the OEM Toyota and VW electronic ignition parts. (Well, most of them anyway) I've seen things come out of their boxes with those stamps on it.
