Well the ac compressor is the main part I need, mine has some bearing grinding noises sometimes -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

If it wasn't for the projectors you could've used HIR's. Technically you still could for the high beam, but not the low.

I don't even know what a 'reputable' brand for HIDs would be -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

What some people do is take the OEM HID set up from a junked car and retrofit it to theirs.

And I haven't seen many cars in the wreckers with hid anyway -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

Philips and Osram Sylvania are the two premier HID brands, but both = $$$$$$. A lot of people here in the States go with DDM Tuning HID's since they are relatively cheap and have a lifetime warranty. Most eBay HID's are cheaply made, a few brands are hit and miss so you may get a good set or you may not, and others are actually pretty good. It's been too long since I was searching for HID's so I don't remember which brand is which. I'm using DDM HID's now. They're decent, but not great. They are reliable though, no flickering issues or radio interference. I have 4,500K bulbs which are too blue but otherwise no real complaints.

HID They're an open box one, but the thing is this is the brand that Mighty Car Mods used on their S14. They also didn't say there was any flickering or issues, so I don't know if I should try it or not Got a different brand from a more reputable shop in Perth. They are 5000k, but are phillips which is one of the best brands. Not sure what there ballasts will be like but apparently they have a 3year warranty. Just bit the bullet and got an amp and sub.
12" soundstream arachnid 250watt rms sub and a kenwood 300watt rms amp. Was a toss up between the kenwood or a Fusion.... The kenwood was slightly better specced and $30 cheaper... Will post photos and such once installed This post has been edited by rentaspace: Aug 18, 2013 - 1:23 AM -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

Gonna be using a custom box for a bit (my mate has a few in his backyard) until I get the wood for a custom boot similar to Tim's (and the time to actually install it) This post has been edited by rentaspace: Aug 18, 2013 - 1:39 AM -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |
