Trust me. If I could. I would. Lol. I'd like to keep my car smog legal. Don't want to be one of those people who pays 200-400 every two year plus DMV vehicle registration. Plus what will you do when you can't find some one to do the smog for you anymore? Your car will then be behind in tags or you'll need to sell it with no smog and no one will want to buy that. So in the long run. I rather have a nice looking car than a fast car that's a b1tch to keep. Lol. Plus it's a DD. Not a race car. Just like what my sig says.

I'm just waiting for the right time to do the swap. Lol. Most likely waiting on either another car or when my 204k miles 5sfe gives out. Lol. These 5sfe engines lasts forever but one day I'll eventually swap the engine out.

I've decided to not do the bolt conversion. It's too costly since I'll need to buy new set of wheels along with the conversion. I might as well buy custom 5x100 wheels with that 2k. Lol. In other words I found a couple wheels that I'm looking into getting after I sell my rpf1s or my fnor1c.

I vote for the ones on the orange car. In my opinion they would look amazing on your ride.

Btw, you have one nice looking celica !

Out of those three I say the meshes, the others are atrocious.

I agree. The mesh would look much much more appealing than the 5 spoke. The only thing is that mesh wheels are a pain in the ass to clean. Lol. But then again. The mesh one doesn't come in 17s which means I'll have to get the 18s which is fine but it's something new to me that I'm debating on getting. Lol.

Mother's PowerCone for the win, so no excuses there. tongue.gif Do they come in 16's by chance? People have done 18's before, but it seems 17's the sidewall is thin enough as it is. That and the weight....

Yea that's what sucks. If I do get the mesh I'm planning on running 205/40/18 and 215/40/18. Only the m240 comes in 17s and up. So if I end up wanting 17s. Ima get the m240 instead.

ILMS97, Your car looks great. I'm in the bay area too so I deal with the same issues. A smog passing 5sfe is not a bad engine to tune, imo. Hit me up if you ever want to exchange ideas about what mods are go and no-go with smog.

Let me rephrase that. I meant bbs rs REPS are too common in my are in the Honda scene. Lol. Plus it costs too much for me. I'd rather get the OZ futura with that money. Lol.

Only possible performance mod I've thought of is just the Carbd Injen SRI and the custom 2.25" exhaust piping.

Those won't get more power. Are you interested in more? It's known that mild cams and tune get results. 6G96GT was telling me about his experience with the colt cams. Very positive. The cams and tune are technically not okay for smog. However, I think the car would run clean and throw no codes. I don't expect you to be a guinea pig for my hypothesis. I'm looking for an engine now. If I end up with a 5sfe I'll try the cams. I can see you are not one to worry about horsepower, but if I get a 5sfe and tune it I can keep you informed about the resources I use in the bay area and valley.
