Not today but a couple of days ago I installed chrome door sills. I got them for Christmas and they look damn good. I also got an S2000 antenna that I'm installing soon.

I finished installing waterpump, timing belt, new idler/tensioner(actually yesterday). i got the Gates kit on Rockauto for $65, same kit Carquest lists as the premium kit for $150.
it came with an American made Gates belt, Koyo idler/tensioner made in Japan, and a Chinese water pump. : /
then when i put it all back together i filled it with coolant and fired it up just to see it go drip, drip, drip frown.gif. i was thinking id have to take it all back apart, then i noticed i hadnt put the lower hose clamp back in place at the t'stat fitting, now its good smile.gif
then when i drove away it stumbled bad, it was better once it warmed up but it hesitated hard when it was cold and seemed to lack power. I was convinced i had the timing off maybe just one tooth and was quite certain I was gonna have to take it most of the way apart again just to get the top cover off and check the marks.
then i realized i had not tightened the spark plugs down. /facepalm

...but it runs great now biggrin.gif

Today, my new gear boot cover arrived in the mail and I was happy to finally throw out the crappy worn thing that was on it before and replace with my new one biggrin.gif

Technically, this was two/three days ago, but my GF and I drove 1100km (683.5miles) from Sydney to Brisbane in the Celica smile.gif

Car was great on the highway, sat at 110km/h with aircon on perfectly, was comfy and didn't miss a beat the whole drive!
Stayed overnight at Kemspey for a rest, since this is my first road trip and I was doing 100% of the driving >.<

And then the next day we set off again for the other half and stopped at this little museum:

To top it off, was getting 7.7L/100km (30.5mpg) on the highway with the aircon on!

My v.1 might be up for sale soon. I'm giving first dibs to Dustin for his and Steff's new ST if they want it back, since they gave me a great deal on it to begin with. However, if they pass it up, it's fair game. It has the base bushings and I picked up a cheap EBay TRD replica shift knob that will go with it.

Yeah, they picked up a cheap ST a while back and dropped the 7A-FTE in it.

^That's right when I slip into a coma and swap a 2GR-FE instead of just buying something else, no thread or pics.
