That seems to be pretty low on miles also so that's a plus.

virginia has VERY lax inspection laws
hell you dont even ahve to have car insurance there, you can sign a waiver saying that you dont want it and if you get in an accident you will personally pay for everything |

Its just the black car in the back ground that makes it look so dark.

Definitely check for signs of flood damage(Va is known for those cars), and also prior damage from a wreck.Sounds like a very good deal for a 96 GT, almost too good for that mileage.

I would do Carfax b4 making any decision, also read the post on celica.net about the ECU tech bulletin, could apply to this one, ( or maybe they cant figure out whats wrong, and are selling it cheap? or they DO know and dont want to pay for the ECU? )
Read the post, Celica.net thread and then drive it, see if it has the symptoms, go from there if the Carfax is ok, But even if it has been wrecked, as long as the bodywork is decent and it drives ok, still worth considering,,, |

Hey guys,
I work at a dealership. The car should be priced at 6495 for the year and model. Depends also, does it have a sunroof/leather/all tools and spare...etc. If it doesn't have leather or a sunroof... the price sounds fine. Carfax should be a good tool in determining the condition of the vehicle. The only way around it is to do all the work yourself and never have the accident reported. Rare situation. Heres a tip for Supra33. The dealership probably has at 4500 into the vehicle (if there not a one-price dealer). That means offer 4900... then settle for 5200. That is.. as long as your not buying from me. As for my 97' GT.. I paid 4500 for mine with 92k miles. Employee discount Good Luck |

Connections are nice - i'm hooking my roommate up with a Prelude VTEC (no no no flame - i know its a Honda) for 4000. Cant beat wholesale. In this world know a doctor, lawyer, cop, salesman of all sorts, and the pizza guy. It'll get ya cheap stuff, out of trouble, and free breadsticks.
