I think it is a pretty common result going from other comments on here. My dash gauges look awesome but climate control is pretty dead on one side. I have the japan climate control. This only has 2 bulbs and they are both pretty much on the same side of the panel. Because the leds don't have as much light spread as the factory bulbs, they don't light all the way along the clear plastic light spreaders inside the climate control. At the moment im experimenting with adding extra leds. Put one extra in today but still might need 2 more to get a good spread.

Exactly.

Please let us know if you succeed with that experiment.

Hi everybody!

I have not been on the forum for months. I have been very busy with many projects on the go but have been quietly producing dash kits for people that order on my website or who message me. This is why as somebody noticed, it may look like I have been on the site but it was to check messages and I haven't been on this thread otherwise I would answer..!

I had a big delay with some orders as my supplier who provides a lot of my custom spec bulbs got hit by a typhoon and the staff could literally not get to work let alone ship my order!

Anyway, I am happy to say that ALL outstanding orders are fully up to date and I am now on holiday in the Phillipines (just narrowly avoided the recent typhoon...).

With regards to the heater control back lighting, yes the lightspread issue is caused by the factory placement of the bulbs and the fact that led's are less diffuse then standard incandescent bulbs. But it's no big deal, they still look awesome.

If anybody needs a kit, let me know and I will sort it out as soon as I get back at the end of next week.

I promise to be on this forum more in the coming months. I'm doing some work on my GT4 anyway so I will have my heart back in the Celica world. ;-)

Hi, well I'm here in the Philippines into the end of next week but I have no outstanding orders so I can do it when I get back and it normally takes about a week get most places.

So the short answer is that three weeks is a safe bet!

I started with what I know to do, I swap engine into my car, I knew it was too much work to make it a AWD. I kept it FWD. Went to take a crack at doing the wiring conversion. Than, I realize, shoot, this is out of my league.

That would be the full car kit. I don't do headlight conversion bulbs it's the side light or parking light bulbs that are included.

I had a few orders delayed due to waiting for those bulbs to arrive but I would never knowingly send a kit or without all the bulbs..are you sure you are missing those bulbs? If so I can get some out to you when I get back. Just pm me your address and a note about the issue.

Cheers.
