They won't ship? XD with shipping it'd probably be cheaper than I've been finding them over here haha.

Bought a new o2 sensor because of CEL code. Day after I ordered it. CEL went away. Sensor came in today and installed it. Might as well since the old o2 sensor was old. Lol. Also got it for cheap on Rockauto. Bought it for $35 shipped. Denso make also. Lol. Got to love that site.

Today I replaced my HID ballasts. Can't believe I've been avoiding doing that. Less than 5 minute work to fix a problem I've had since I own the car. The left headlights always failed to light up, I had to switch on and off several times to fix it...

I got a little heavy on the throttle accelerating over some bumpy construction and my wheel hop turned into a loud banging(like someone hitting the firewall with a sledgehammer) present in 1st and 2nd gears under acceleration.

Some tugging and cursing revealed that the front motor mount and passenger side mount both failed and now my engine is just a sloppy bastard sitting in there. Fortunately toyota engineers are clever and though the engine is 'loose' it is contained by the shackle design of the mounts. Unlike the Chevy pickup I had, on which the mounts tore loose from the torque of my 4.2L straight six and the engine flipped sideways in the engine bay.

Oh and two days ago I went through a drivethrough carwash with my sportline drop springs, I dragged the undercarriage on the wheel guides for the conveyer belt the whole way through... kindasad.gif

I'd rather keep the car dirty than go through one of those, same for the self-service wash bays with those "foaming" brushes. I know for a fact that the latter causes scratches from grit in the brush, I doubt the rollers in the machine are perfectly clean.

Joshua - how does that American muscle feel? My mother had a silver base model of that gen, auto, 'vert, fairly awful. The interior is made from bits of children's toys.

Silver V6 Auto... all of the bads tongue.gif

The power and RWD'ness as amazing, and the sound is awesome (Has intake and exhaust done).... Ride is VERY firm with 18" wheels and lowering springs. Clutch is aftermarket heavy duty and is wayy to heavy (Celica is soo light! tongue.gif). Handling isn't as bad as I expected, but I haven't pushed it too hard yet (been raining too much this week). But you are right... build wise the car is a pile of cr@p! tongue.gif This is the best I could find within a decent price (slightly above Blue Book), and bits of interior trim were just falling off the whole way home!!!

There is an autocross nearby tomorrow, so if I don't end up going to Tahoe for a day of skiing I'll go and give it a go!

That last part.....thats why I dont do drive through washes anymore. Well, that and I have an actual driveway/garage now.
