Not often you come across the SS-II with superstrut & E series gearbox. how do you find the gear ratio's TomC?

I'm not actually sure whether it is superstrut or not haha atleast the mechanic seemed to think so but I wouldn't personally know. Anyway to easily check? And I'm guessing it's a SS-II since it's 3S-GE, just guessed from reading the 'JDM Engine Specifications' but it may not be? To be honest I don't really know much about my Celi, just love it smile.gif. As for the gear ration; again, I don't know haha but it is very nice to drive, defiantly fast enough for me. Sorry for not knowing much d:

There's an easy way to tell from the engine bay, but I'm keeping it secret until I finish my new updated ST202 info thread

For yourself to find out turn the wheel and it should look something like this

that's all good, enjoy driving it smile.gif

Sorry for keeping this discussion on the thread haha, but I just checked and yeh it looks pretty similar to that. Also found a sneaky way to find out when I was going through the forums, some models have "super strut suspension" on the rear of the back window as a small white sticker. Only remnants are left on mine but I think I can just make it out to say that smile.gif More alarmingly when I had my wheel turned I think I noticed CV damage -_-" time for another check up at the mechanics I think, anyway thanks for your help and on the topic of this thread I would still be very interested in a meet someday.

Yeah, best to get it sorted. no worries that's what this topic is here for, its difficult finding a central place for everyone to meet up, but at least you get to know who's in your region/area.

Would anyone be interested in a meet at Manfield at some point?

There is a Playday on September 14th, for anyone that doesn't know it's basically a take anything on the track fun day.

When said about modification I didn't mean the ones made by man. What I said was that it might have modified after being affected by a certain force.

Haha yeah man, was in town today and it sucks a bit. Hit a few this morning too and it makes me cringe everytime. Im glad i don't have my old car as that had lower profile tyres than what i have now with 17" mags. Was a nightmare driving around town. Driving to a limit of 80kms must be driving you nuts unless you live right in the middle of town.

It is track two as the other part of the track is already booked. Click on track two here. A nice twisty turny track! http://www.tauporacetrack.co.nz/the-tracks/track-layouts

Hamptons is not available as their is a motorbike booking for the long weekend and we've just done Hamptons for the festival anyway.

Accommodation - suggest Beechtree Suites Motel. They have lots available at the moment and have good parking off the street. http://www.beechtreesuites.co.nz/#about

Note that this is NOT an official Toyota event and will not be flash like the festival with catered lunch etc. It is about meeting up and having fun between the festivals.

Cheers will add it

First NZGT4OC cruise in Palmerston North.

Members in this area, please support this cruise so we can run more in the future. First ones don't get a huge turnout, but even if your GT-Four is not running, come along and meet the other members in your area :-)

Cameron will be running this one and has put a lot of work into it...look for his car above when you get to the meeting point.

Cruise details:
We'll meet at the Old Mitre 10 car park, cruise through the middle of town and out past Summerhill. Taking the Piheatua track towards Woodville, we'll head back over the Rangers via Saddle Road where we can stop for some pictures. After that we can head back to Palmy and finish up by the Square.
