They look really good too. |

I was wary of the brackets but they fit perfect and they sit low.
If you want to sit in them better loose some weight for next week if need be Dan...these seats arent for big butts. Narrow-asses-only hahaha This post has been edited by Tigawoods: Mar 28, 2014 - 10:43 AM -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation

looks like I will be replacing the head on my 5S this winter or sooner if I feel up to it.
http://www.mr2.com/forums/threads/31459-Ge...orced-induction looking around Ive been seeing talk head upgrades for less than a couple grand. Since swapping engines isnt in the forseeable future for me at the moment, this head upgrade has been intriguing me. (from above link) Webcams 577 or 101 grind: $600 Shims to install cams: $0-140 Valve springs: $50-100 plus a head gasket if you have to pull the head to install them 295cc or 315cc Injectors: $50-100 Tuning (on a dyno if you need someone else to tune it): $100-400 -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation

Why is a motor swap not feasible?
I wouldn't think wrapping up that much money into a 5sfe..unless you want to turbo....would be worth it? |

Until I get a place with a garage I refuse to do it. I am weary of the whole "drive up to PA every weekend to work on the car". Weekday afternoons are when I have the most time and would be best spent working on the car
Recently (for couple days haha) I thought about turboing the 5s. But decided I enjoy N/A more. V6 has been floating around my head too, but like I said, even if I go that route, It wouldn't be for a few years at least. The price and time to complete the above head upgrade doesnt seem to be THAT much money wasted. I already have a good chuck of the requirements, and I can sell my old cams to use towards the new ones. -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation

Gotcha.
A garage really does make the swap that much easier. To be honest even though I have really only owned boosted cars since my celica....I love NA the best...E46 ///M3 noise  |

Yeah!
I would probably miss how obnoxiously loud my car is if I boosted haha. another large part of why I want to do this is because Ive never taken apart a head and I am really curious about it and really want to get one and play around with it. Its something I can grab and do off to the side while the car is still running(leaking haha) oh and one BIG thing that has me looking at the V6 swap is that TRD supercharger thats floating around This post has been edited by Tigawoods: Apr 21, 2014 - 12:51 PM -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation

I'm surprised you're not in SMF with all of the mods you have. I run in STF here because no competition in STC.
Anyway, I like that red harness. Suits the IDGAF, racecar mentality. -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

Im SO not legal in STC. I should be in Street Prepared, but the competition there is beyond where I want to go with my car. 2 Blue Sparco Harnesses came in the mail today so that harness is getting replaced! I had a crisis on what color I should get and people said just go with the IDGAF look hahaha thanks tho man! -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation
