Today I went to the junkyard. I was there for civic parts but ended up getting more celica parts than civic. I found a manual transmission bezel, two blue door panels in great shape, and ton of the clips that cover the twilight mounting points.

These turtles grow too a max size of around 25cm so my tank will support them smile.gif
In Australia it's illegal to take them from the wild as they're protected so I had to get a license and then buy them,
Totally worth it though

The turtles love chilling with my cory Dora's haaga

around here it depends on the state you're in, in Kansas you're allowed to take one of each species, in Missouri it's not allowed at all. and of course that's because they get too big and people always release them back into the wild.
eventually they'll eat anything else that's in the tank smile.gif

Decided to go look at a shell. 95GT with a blown motor. Listed as having only 100k miles.
As long as it's not rusted I'm probably going to to but it and transplant the motor and Trans out of my wrecked 97 and upgrade to OBD2 while I'm at it

This week I've been working on filling the lettering on my spoiler blocks. Never worked with body filler before so it's pretty interesting tongue.gif

Reminds me, I found some stuff that'd be perfect for that kind of stuff. Bondo Glass. Got some to repair a fiberglass diffuser for the Genesis Coupe.

Decided to finally install the climate control spree LEDs. After reading a lot of posts on how to get the cc out, I finally just released the two cables and it was pretty easy going from there. I must say, the spree LEDs do add a brilliant newness to that area of my car.

Robert (son) is leaving for basic training in the morning. So, to pass some time we worked on the Prosport gauge install. I have had them for about a year. Pain in the ass! I think he is ready to go. Not so much for the gauges. lol

I wish your son good luck.

Going to look at a '90 Miata tomorrow morning, if the mechanical bits are as good as the interior and exterior I'll finally have myself a car. It's white and ALL original, even has the factory radio. It's higher miles but that doesn't bother me, only 10K more than what the Celica had and it's 5 years older.

Yeah, it was a bit difficult to fit those lights through the back, because the opening was smaller. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures here without having to use a link to photobucket, I will - in the future! 😊

Yeah the only way to 'post' a photo is by a link to another photo hosting site. 6GC doesn't host them locally, would require a large storage system otherwise.

Today I....well really this past weekend I cut the frame and epoxied in nuts for the ST to GT passenger side (which is my driver side) motor mount switch in prep for my motor.

I media blasted some seams and sealed those and then bought some primer and paint.

Next weekend media blasting my engine bay and painting biggrin.gif
