I've been thinking about this also lately, but it seems with everything I wanna do with the setup it's gonna be a high price tag, maybe in the 10k range. I would run a stand alone and forget the whole drive by wire deal, run ITB's, yes the sound makes them worth it. I would have to get an E series transmission and then rebuild it with an OS Giken diff or some thing along those lines resulting in $10,000 USD maybe more. I've been thinking of how i would cope with the torque in a FWD, so either refining the suspension more and balancing wheel track with wheel offset or superstrut. still playing the lotto..... and if i did i would also build a 2mzfe screamer it has just the right rod/stroke ratio to be at 10k rpm singing.

im going to leave with this pic. and use your imagination.... no its not done. not yet... it will require a lot of some and a little bit of not for your average homebuilder, This post has been edited by njccmd2002: Jul 6, 2014 - 8:54 PM -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I foresee a hole in the hood to fit the intake manifold.

Not bad.
Is the pass side mounted for real ? If so and it's a bit unlevel, shim the driver's side to lower it a bit. -------------------- |

I'm away for a week and this happens? Yep, that's how it always is. Hmm, could make a blister in the hood to clear the engine. I'm sure something could be done so it's aesthetically pleasing. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

Nice Progress! I would check the angle of the chassis also, jack stands are never very accurate at making sure you have and exactly flat angle. The strut tops are also good points to use to help align the engine. I only say this cause i pretty much had to do the same thing in order to fit a 3s into my corolla. If i had the money now the 2gr is something I also want to tackle.
