Got work done today. Got watched over by a mate too: post on the picture game, You win! <@ Should hear from their insurance within the week or so, going to call and try and get a quote tomorrow from the body shop. I just hope they don't want to total it... So they were insured? that's a relief, you may get more than you paid for the car But my car isn't in the photo ;( -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |

I cleaned the thread out. Yes, I did delete it all because it isn't Celica related. That's what the off-topic section is for. I went back and deleted my own posts as well. We are all guilty of going a little off topic once in a while, but complete off topic conversations should be kept to a minimum. We really need a section for other cars/projects.

We are all guilty of going a little off topic once in a while, but complete off topic conversations should be kept to a minimum. We really need a section for other cars/projects. The topic should be moved to the off-topic section then. We are a bunch of friend that like to chat about random stuff and since the chat is not working why not in a thread. It gets us together and brings people coming a few times more in the day to read. We are not that big of a forum for stuff to be getting deleted. -------------------- |

I understand that and all, but does it really even matter? This is a general thread in the general section. There's like ten of us that really frequent here, not like a little "off-topic" discussion is going to throw the site into mass pandemonium. Anyhow, I'm starting a thread in the off-topic portion then for non-Celica discussion.

The topic should be moved to the off-topic section then. We are a bunch of friend that like to chat about random stuff and since the chat is not working why not in a thread. It gets us together and brings people coming a few times more in the day to read. We are not that big of a forum for stuff to be getting deleted. It wasn't a thread, it was several posts in this thread. I agree that back and forth banter is fun and brings the community together but this thread is not the "talk about anything you want" thread. I have deleted several pages out of this thread, more than once. This forum is general Celica discussion, not general talk about anything in the world. A little off-topic discussion won't kill the forum, but when at least half of every page is completely off topic, it's time to take it somewhere else. You like your Miata, I like your Miata, and I'd love to see a progress thread in the off topic section. For newer members who don't remember it, Griffgirl's Celica chat is still active and serves as our chat function when our main chat is down. There used to be an announcement at the top of all the sections, but now there's only an announcement in the Website Discussion forum which is dead so nobody sees it. Here's the link. www.griffgirl.com/forum/chat -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates. Today I realized that it is impossible to find a vacuum diagram for a JDM Rev2 3sgte engine.
I'm going to end up capping off about half the things on there.... |

You could probably find a USDM diagram to get the bulk of it figured out, at the very least you'll have the essentials. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

I know where most of the lines go because of the engine being intact. There's just a few that I'm not sure of...actually it's more like two lol |

That's weird... Surely somewhere the information is available though. Hmm, if there's two lines that means you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right.

Started looking at Hydrodipping today...
Probably won't be getting it all done at once since prices are pretty expensive, it starts at around $30 for small piece, and can be anywhere up to $200 per piece for wheels. -------------------- ------------------------------| White '94 Celica | Bought 11/05/12 | Sold 12/05/15 |------------------------------ |
