Hello: I am looking to upgrade my lights with HID for now (low beams for now) There are so much out there that is mind-blowing.
Can you guys recommend a brand/website that you had good experience with or know a qood quality HID that would last a few years. I found a website that sells a pair of slims for 80 and claims they are designed in Germany. thanks in advance. |

I bought my car with HIDs. One of the ballasts took forever to turn on, so I bought two slims off eBay. Installed in March and no problems since then.

eBay HiproPower. Installed it on my Boss's Silverado and it works perfect. Been 2 years since and I still see it working til now. Btw it was only $40 shipped.

DDM Tuning. Their HID kits are $35 with a lifetime warranty. I've had them for a few years and no complaints.

1 thing I would say is don't bother with the high wattage systems. I went for a 50w one over a 35w, didn't really seem any brighter (a friend has a 35w system) but was half as much again to buy and 1 lamp failed within 2 months.
Can't remember the make. |

TRS's XB35 bulbs are very good, their ballasts have seen some quality issues lately though.

All HID lights are going too suck unless you have the correct housing for them, dont be that guy with the super blue lights blinding every one. |
