Those are pretty cool but it will be awhile before I can afford them. I'm kind of tapped out after buying a clip . One thing to consider is that Megan is trying to be a jack of all trades and a master of none. Tein has been doing nothing but suspension for 16 years longer than Megan has even been around. Just some food for thought. That is something to consider. I have heard good things about the megans but with something this important I might as well get the best I can from the trusted brand. The fully adjustable tiens are the super street ones right? -------------------- |

If it were me I'd find a Tein set if you don't mind only having a single damper setting.

I think I'm going to get the tein super streets when the time comes. I believe those have adjustable dampers.

They do, but I've only seen the basic set for the Celica. Then again I really haven't looked in awhile.

today I signed up for the extra machine shop safety classes all the mechanical engineers have to take. The class for running the Mill was full so I signed up for the Lathe class.
...now I think I can take the cams from my old motor to school and get them ground for nothing - just have to decide on which profile to use -------------------- Bust a Deal; Face the Wheel.

Today I realized that I forgot my ST rear sway bar had a softer setting.
Now I don't have to worry about my drive down to Jersey as much this weekend....and in general too.. |

Today I cried because I figured out how difficult it is to source GT Four wheel bearings In the USA. Kill me.

If you can find the exact dimensions a company specializing in bearings should have what you need.

in the past 2 weeks i have driven over 1500 miles. stupid car makes me fall in love with it all over again. absolute dream to cruise in at higher speeds. also hit a top speed of 119mph in my car for the first time (highest is 115 before. every mile counts lol)
dont know if i mentioned on here but lowered car. new shocks. new brakes. new rear anti roll thingys. (rounded the bolt on one while ripping out old suspension) new cv boots. -------------------- "whoever said progress was a slow process... was probably talking about me" |

Not today but a couple days ago got my fenders rolled since my tires were rubbing with my spacers on.
And today I installed my rear strut bar and finished working on my custom trunk / sub enclosure. Still have to put some finishing touches on it but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out Haven't wired the sub in yet so we'll see how it sounds. As you can see I was going to cut out a hatch that I could open to get to my spare tire but I couldn't really find a good way to do it so I just left it. With the amount of times I'll be going under there I can just lift the whole thing up, it's not too bad. -------------------- 2007 Impreza 2.5i - Daily

I don't feel like building a car for myself, much less anyone else. Somebody like Motion Industries will have the bearing you need, just have to have all of the specs. Just about every time you go to rebuild a transmission with new bearings you have to go through the same ordeal.

Rotated the tires, noticed some play with putting the wheels back on and found all four front strut-to-hub bolts to be slightly less than finger-tight. It's been a year since I've messed with them, I'm wondering why they've only now started to work loose.
