God that's one of the beat mods I did. I can't stand large antennas. They look terrible

I miss winter driving in Ontario. I never had the GT-Four there, but I loved hooning my parent's Tercel & Oldsmobile back in the day.

Man winter driving in the four is the best. Some good winter tires and no snow storm can stop you!

Anyone installed A8's before? Found this on Craigslist today. I know they look rough but that can be fixed. Seeing these seats go for upwards of 4k (ebay) fully refurbished. They look like gen 2.

I say go for it, they really don't look that bad. Mainly cleaning and re-dying and they'll look a million times better.

Today I got my first driving infringement in 3 years of driving frown.gif Pulled out off a side street at 8pm on an empty road and gave it some beans for a couple of seconds till the bottom of the hill and dropped back to normal. Turns out there was a highway patrol at the top of the street I turned onto. Their radar was pointed to the exact spot where I hit top speed and slowed down. Got me for 48 in a 37 zone (yes, I americanized it for you tongue.gif).

So $227 and 3 demerit points which means that I can't get another fine in the next 12 months or I lose my license.

This is why you make up some elaborate lies, like you were making sure the bogging was fixed by your earlier endeavors and you didn't want to find out when merging onto a highway/interstate the next morning to work. tongue.gif

Interesting, over here you have to get like two or three DUI's or a few instances of reckless driving before that happens. tongue.gif

Essential Package 1 of 3 arrived today. Still can't drive.

Question: I don't think an alignment tool is included in my clutch kit that I ordered. That should not be a problem since I'm taking my car to a Toyota dealership, correct?

First ticket in 3 years ffs. Freakn' Nazis run your Highway Patrol, over hear you have to be doing 20 mph over before they call it careless and imprudent.
Although Boxy obviously hasn't had a DUI in a while, If you get One you're hosed good, it's been that way for a good 15 years at least. In the past rich old dudes could get six DWI and their lawyer would get them off It's not like that anymore.

Lol I have gotten pulled over 5 times in the past three years of driving. For All five, I was let off with a warning because the high school I graduated from also happens to be where a majority of the police officers here graduate from as well. And if I'm not let off, I have a few close family friends who are pretty high up in the police force and are able to take care of things.

Depending on what state you're in, In Missouri If you get a speeding ticket you can pay a lawyer the price of the ticket plus an extra $100 or so and he will get it reduced to a "defective equipment(speedometer)" fine which will have no points on your license and no effect on your insurance.
In Kansas you don't even need the Lawyer, you can just go to the courthouse yourself and pay them Twice the fine and they will do the same thing for you. You can do this up to three times in two years before they will actually put points on your license and mess with your insurance rate. So you have to be a big retard, or just poor to get in any real trouble.

Yeah, we don't get that luxury here tongue.gif Closest thing is if you start a company and have the car registered under the company name and claim that you don't know who the driver was, then fine goes up to like $1k and no points.

Haha, radar detectors are HIGHLY illegal in most parts of Australia. They have right to search your car on suspicion of using one, and if you get caught there are HUGE fines and confiscation of the unit. That, and not many of our officers use radar any more (most LIDAR and the likes).

Today I found that I accidentally switched two vacuum lines and failed to fill up my TMIC to spec. I remedied both of these issues and no longer have any engine codes. Now I cant get traction :3
