I was wondering if anyone here knows for sure if this particular vendor is selling genuin Tein S Techs? Or does anyone know of a reputable dealer who sels genuine Teins, and will ship internationally to Australia? I've just been reading alot about fake ones being sold on eBay. I have the link here. Would you buy it if you were after Tein S techs.

http://www.tein.com/counterfeit/index.html

Back in 2008 or so there was a court upholding that compensated Tein for damages by the counterfeiting company and made the possession and selling of counterfeits illegal. More or less if you're buying from a reputable seller you'll be ok, but it never hurts to double check just in case.

These are the ones I recently bought, and as far as I can tell based on the link from the Tein website that Box posted, they're not counterfeit.

You can contact TEIN and send them the link and have them verify

Thanks for the feedback guys. Decided I'll do more research on Springs. Thinking about upgrading to Koni sport shocks first. Pretty pricey though. Wonder if it's worth it.

Depends honestly for same price that you pay for koni and lowering springs you can have coilovers. Now koni are lifetime warranty and are amazing. Coilovers have to be rebuilt after so many miles at least tiens do according to the website. Coilovers can also be adjusted to whatever you'd like vs lowering springs you are stuck where you are at. If you have no future plans of going lower and want a good shock I'd go koni. I'm perfectly content with my drop on my lowering springs.. I went for KYB replacements because they where 212$ vs 550ish for koni. Once I blow the KYB I'm going with koni.

Well, my order for the springs went through. I'm going with Tein S techs, with Koni shocks. Im not keen on the rebuild with the coilovers. I want something thatll last.

My brother just bought and installed some Tein S. Techs for his Genesis Coupe off eBay. No problems with anything. Supposedly they only dropped 1.2" but they dropped a lot more than that. I noticed that with the Celica as well, as it was only supposed to be 1.5" in the front and .9" in the rear. Funny in the Genesis it rides smoother than the stock springs despite being lower and stiffer.
