I traded in my daily (2007 G35s sedan) and picked up this 2015 IS250 F-Sport.

Nice! How are you liking it? I've always liked those

I don't think I would of made the trade if I didn't have my S2000. Power is less than the G35 but the comfort and gadgets are miles above the Infiniti, as expected in a 9 year newer car.
I can not get over the gauges in this IS, they are inspired by the LFA and really make the f-sport package worth it.

I find the lack of torque in the IS to be okay since it is much more refined than the G35. That VQ makes a nice noise but is a bit grainy (less so in the G37, to be said). I love the dials too, especially the red tach in sport mode. I like Lexus' transmission programming too, for a slushbox. Seems to react quickly without blocking shifts, and the paddles are hefty and well set up. Might not have a whallop of thrust, but I find the smoothness and willingness to rev through a substantial range makes up for that.

If anything the IS250 looks considerably better than the G sedan.

Interesting trade, Scott. I would have thought that you'd enjoy the G37 more than the IS250. Power aside, does the Lexus have more gadgets? Which is more comfortable? Boost the S2000 and you'll never miss the G37. smile.gif

G35 was great but showing age and miles were getting high for the VQ.
S2000 if anything will be prepped for STR, but for the foreseeable future will be a B-stock car until I get comfortable driving the car around an auto-x course.

Lexus is miles better for a daily, comfortable, better gadgets, better mpg. Since I have the s2000 I won't miss the manual transmission on my daily, thats for sure.

I think Baltic Blue would be a very fitting color for your Supra, Andrew.

I see this Baltic at least once every 2 weeks so I am kind of bored of the color TBH haha. Plus any Baltic repaint NEVER matches OEM as the color has been discontinued. The MKIII will stay this color and just be touched up. I am not really set on any color specifically for a MKIV, I think every color can be made to look great on a MKIV

I was going to two-tone my MKIII's but never got around to it. Black on the bottom with anthracite on the top would look classy. If I ever get another one I'd probably still want to two-tone it, I mean how can you not with it laid out for you from the factory. tongue.gif Finish it with some BBS rims and some cocaine on the passenger seat and it's 1988 all over again.

That blue with a black or silver on the bottom would look nice in a spectacular 80's kind of way.
