wow, got in my old celica and fell in love with it all over again haha. looking for one. must be gt, 5spd, hatch only, no accidents, damages, no mechanical issues, and clean and no rust please! black or red is preference, but any will do EXCEPT yellow! i would love to find a 96-99 gt but those are unicorns now a ways. 5k tops. if i have to fly out, so be it. i need a vacation anyways! NO RUST NO RUST NO RUST!

Check Arizona it's prob the best state to buy a car from its only 28 hours away from me haha... Www.statewidelist.com it's a craigslist search engine that checks entire states. It's what I use.

I tried, nothing out there of my interest. If there's nothing, I'll pick up a mr2 twerbo. It's just more convenient to have back seats lol.

For what it's worth, there is a white 1999 GT Automatic in NJ thats for sale for $2200 with full black leather interior.
I know it's not a 5 speed or in Minnesota, but a 99 Celica is very hard to find. Maybe this an option, If you don't mind paying an extra $2000 to have it shipped to MN from NJ and swap in a 5 speed. http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/5446368452.html If I had the money I would buy it just for the hell of it, I always liked white Celicas. |

Kids crazy on the price tho. I think that's a 1600$ car if that. I got my cobalt last night 06 107k great shape 2200. Honestly, I stopped looking at MN cars years and years ago. Minnesotans have the tendency of stating that "car has no rust" and that's false 100% of the time. My last Celica, I bought from Texas. My FRS was shipped brand new from California. Both my brand new cars are from out of state. I don't plan on going back to anything that's been exposed to snow (midwest, parts of eastern states). My first few 6gc's were from MN with great bodies but ****ty suspension because of rust issues. Taking bolts out was a bitch. It would either strip or break off. The Celica I bought from Texas was a gem. Underbody was like a brand new car's. Bolts came out like nothing. I just can't go back to MN cars LOL unless it's been garaged during winters.

There are several Supras listed also. I found a '99 convertible with 133000 miles on it for $1500. I looked at a hatchback in Miami for $750 but it needed a paint job, otherwise it was in good shape and ran great. --------------------  |
