well the pass mount is not done, and engine is on the transmission mounts. and a jackstand is holding the engine. Not much wiggle room to raise or lower engine but couple degrees. plus the picture is angled. lol. no more updates for now. this is as slow as snail.

Reason i bring this back from the dead, 2 years ago, i want to make sure the ability to swap the 2grfe into a celica is there... I have one. not a hard problem,

However some people look at the legality, from the emission standpoint... well i dont care!! lol, i dont need it..

However(again) frankenstein motorworks is working on a solution of using a lotus ECU, and make it legal in most states, and even maybe that "Nazi-State"...

http://www.mr2oc.com/188-v6-mr2-forum/6145...lifornians.html

its not done yet, but its a possibility. The prices of the 2grs are coming down, and are more frequent in salvage yards, its a more modern engine. so ill just leave this here, to clog your minds.

Sure its a bit more expensive than your regular 3sgte swap, but the amount of torque the engine produces on a rav4 ecu is amazing, let alone using an Evora ecu....

Don't count me out. I still have the engine, life has just been a little crazy lately. Plus, it's probably going to cost me your daughter's college tuition to get the secrets from you....

Sometimes that makes it easier, because you don't know enough to over think it.

Says the first guy to shoehorn a 2GR into a 6gc and figure out all the different problems that go into it. wink.gif

On another note, it was a pain in the arse to take out the alternator.

Why are you looking to move to the Lotus? Does it open up more power?
