Yes buy it! I love the hawkeye. My favorite of the GD bodies. Even with an auto I would still think it would be fun. I love my Outback Sport. Buy it and join the subaru culture. There's a lot you can do to personalize and make your subaru your own.

Yeah I took it for a test drive and it's actually a fun little car to drive even being auto. Just gonna check pricing and availability for the shifter cable tomorrow but I'll probably end up getting the car.

Hmmm, then again I'd want a manual in a luxury car even so who knows. laugh.gif It seems to be in good shape and those years look good, so if it seems to be a fair price for your area and you can live with the automatic then I'd say it's worth going for.

Today I finally retired this old license plate.

Broke one of the bolts in the process so I'll get to fix that tomorrow. rolleyes.gif

But more importantly, after almost 9 months, I finally managed to make this happen.

Still a cross between a Hoosier redneck and an Illinois backwoods hillbilly.

Custom steering wheel button from Australia, just made, shipping tomorrow. I think it was about $20.
stickertech at hotmail.com, guy can make resin dome badges and stickers in many sizes and shapes, haven't had hands on it yet so I can't comment on in person quality but he took a vague photo and made exactly what I pictured in my mind into a real part so that's awesome. I'll post more photos when I get it.

Box, I bet he can do a Chocobo

That and not even my F-body has T-tops, gah. laugh.gif

If my car had been one of the few yellow ones I was going to get the personal tag: CHOCOBO. I guess it's a raven being black, I like ravens too. That's ok I have a pillow for a horn button anyway. The horn button looks nice in the picture though, should look spiffy in the car.

Oh yeah almost forgot, on Saturday helped brother with replacing the cat below the turbo with an "O2 housing". More or less straight pipe between the turbo and downpipe with some O2 sensor fittings, so now it's straight piped to the muffler. Not terribly loud but now it reeks and after just a short test drive the back bumper had carbon all over it, I give it a week before he gets tired of it. I will say the power seems more linear and slightly stronger in the upper rpm range, and supposedly it's a must do mod for when the turbo is upgraded. Personally not a compromise I'd be willing to make.

One of my cracked ghetto fog lights fell apart today, I need to order some new ones.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/261995188901?_trks...K%3AMEBIDX%3AIT leaning toward those but also considering these

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281605949516?_trks...K%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Either are better than what I have now, mostly use them as DRL and to splash a little light up at road signs. The yellow DOES help in winter snow and on winter snow to make it softer on my eyes though.

The first set looks a little better. I had started wearing yellow tinted glasses at night to help with my night blindness, need to start using them again.

Actually I need to find the time to get a medical waiver so I can run tint on the windshield, nothing stupid but even 90% across the entire front would cut glare and as a side benefit 99% of UV. Then I could run as dark as I want on the sides and back glass as well, but I'd probably go no darker than 20% anyway.

Hmmm, the second set might actually fit into Firebird. Might being the key word. That's ok I was looking around The Retrofit Source to help my brother with replacing the Genesis's high beams with a H1 mini and I'm somewhat kicking myself now, had I known about them I'd have bought them and a decent HID kit then would've just needed to make a mounting plate to put them into the headlight doors... Oh well.

You can't run a bare projector, it has to be sealed inside a housing, the depths needed just aren't really there in your flip up light housings, I've seen the C5 vette guys going nuts trying to get it to work right and it's hard hard hard to get done right.
