Today I bought this..... TRD exhaust for the Beams. It'll be awhile before it gets here but I'm excited for it.

From my Japan TRD parts thread

Actually designed for the 3S-GE gen 3, not the beams 3S-GE. Though if its like other exhausts made for the 3S-GE/beams you'll only need a 2-3" exhaust section to fit in-between the exhaust

The ad said beams specifically and in the picture it did seem to have that piece.

I bought a TRD exhaust for my car a few years back, before my current setup. Dealing with Nengun was an absolute nightmare and I ended up backing out. The exhaust simply wasn't worth the hassle and the cost was going to be as much as the BEAMS swap was. I'm curious to see how it will sound on your car.

Yeah negun can be a hassle to deal with. I don't think I'll be buying from them again unless something like this comes up. I'm still excited to get it in.

why are you still banging your head on the wall about fitment??? .... i can only imagine shipping for that long piece over 1.5m long will be around $320-350. I paid $250 through jessestreeter for a 3 piece version, but not a few days ago.

hmm well its sad to say nengun isn't what i thought it to be as far as what i've experience. i tried getting a exhaust shipped and turns out they want to charge me an arm and a leg because the exhaust exceeded the 1.5m length. the only available shipping options are DHL and FED EX express services which both are from $530-600. since thats the case their system automatically eliminates any of the other shipping options you see that are shorter than 1.5 meters long. even though they use containers to ship car parts, thats only possible for me to do if my order total consisted of various parts exceeding $1,000.

im sure for parts that are not exhaust related this would be a different story. but even from what njcmd2002 and masked man paid for shipping for the exhaust (from neighboring Asian countries) was $150-200. the exhaust I want is not one picee from the catalytic converter to muffler, but rather is in 2 pieces the same way masked man got his shipped from rpm garage. so i guess even though nengun is a well organized company with A+ customer service their shipping isnt realistic...

Exhaust came today. Freaked out at first because DHL marked it as delivered, but nothing was there when I got home. Called DHL and they checked with their driver. Turns out the driver cleared it out of the system because it was too long for the vehicle he was using which is why it said delivered. Thankfully I got it and it's in my hands. Can't wait to put it on.

Today I did the third brake mod. I took two 5 inch bright white LEDs, Mounted them on an aluminum plate that I cut to fit inside the brake light housing (behind the red lens) with a notch to run the wires. Secure the LED mounted plate with JB Weld and installed it. I had a spare 3rd brake light and I used the connector from the bulb side and solder it with the LED wires and made it factory connection. Looks brighter than before and you cannot see the individual LEDs which is what i was going for. Total cost about $30.00. That includes the 3rd Brake light from eBay and two 5 inch LEDs.

I hate when they do that, USPS likes to do the same thing. You'll have to get a video once it's done.

Put some new wheels on today. Car is coming along nicely. I think I'd like skirts and spats next.

My hood latch was sticking so today I removed it, cleaned it up, and lubricated it with some white lithium grease.
