My house, my celica with beams redtop swap, and pretty much everything I owned destroyed by Harveys flood waters.

This really sucks, never been thru anything like this before. My town is Fannett Texas and was one of the worst hit areas and cannot even get to see my house as roads still blocked. I'm stuck in a nearby town which has become an island cut off on all sides by flood and bridges are starting to collapse. People say fema will help, haha they want to give me 300 bucks for my celica, what a joke. No flood insurance because county redoing flood plain map and no elevation survey on the property as its been in the family since 1968. Just bought the house in January from family.

Sorry to hear this. frown.gif I know flood insurance is outrageous. Will you try to restore your Celica? FEMA is better than nothing but only marginally so.

That sucks... I know it doesn't help but at least you weren't one of those that lost their life, so there's that. Hopefully things can be salvaged.

Dang bro sorry to hear about it. Prayers out to you and the rest of those affected by the flood. Hopefully some things are still recoverable from the car once the flood dies down (if it hasn't already). I hope this doesn't discourage you to stop building the celica (or cars in general). At the end of the day it's just a car, and you're still alive and breathing.
