had a chance to work on this again...



you can see it now without the rusted parts cut out...



blasted half of it....



had a little time to clean and degrease it..



then applied exposy prime..



its got lot more to be done but the patches to fix the front are still on the car.....

will keep on going

Have you considered acid dipping the whole shell? I never looked into it myself, but seems like it might be a good idea in your case, unless the costs are prohibitive.

So why not grind down the welds to make the repair less obvious? Letting it wear the battle scars?

i will, the issue right now, is because its 20g metal, by grinding them down, leaves it weak, also because it has thinned due to rust. im planning on rewelding on the bottom, and then grind on the top.

8 foot door i believe, i had to build per rules of subdivision. Upstairs is 600 SQF of storage
